I am greatly impressed by your work ethic and perserverance, and how well you have performed as a professional baseball player. From your homerun streak in Seattle to the round-tripper you hit off Andy Pettit in Yankee Stadium on Mother’s Day, you have proven to be a true major-leaguer. You’ve had some bad luck along the way, like when you were hit in the face by a pitch, but you always bounced back. I will be cheering for you as always when spring training begins, and I am certain you will be in Philly on opening day.
