September 7, 2013 – Fayetteville-Manlius took it to Schenectady High 55-20 in the Patriots’ season opener. Known for their powerhouse teams over the years, Fayetteville-Manlius scored on its very first play on offense and never looked back, running off to a quick 28-0 lead. Felix Rodriguez, a speedy and dependable running back and quarterback Brennan Gwinner, were the two bright lights for the Patriots in defeat. Rodriguez rushed for 118 yards on 15 carries and scored on a 44-yard run. Gwinner was 6 for 17 through the air for 130 yards and a touchdown.
