Argyle’s Joey Lufkin & Germantown’s Nolan Lewis Top the Boys

February 23, 2013Argyle’s Joey Lufkin lit it up again with a 36-point performance in a 73-50 win over St Johnsville in Class D action.  With his prolific scoring,  Lufkin now has become the eighth player in Section II history to amass over 2,000 career points.  Nolan Lewis of Germantown registered 31 pioints to lead his team to a 61-53 win over North Warren.  Other top performers were:

Javion Ogunyemi – The Troy High stalwart bucketed 23 points to lead the Flying Horses to a close 55-53 win over a well-balanced Bethlehem team.

Derek Durkee – Durkee led Fort Ann with 27 points, as the Cardinals defeated number 6 seed Hartford 57-55 in playoff action.  The Tanagers were led by Tad Jones who also scored 27 points.

Matt Yamin – Yamin registered 24 points to lead Lodonville Christian over Northville, 53-42.
