Bill Mazeroski & Joe Carter Hit World Series Walk-Off Homeruns

Bill Mazeroski and Joe Carter are the only two major league players to hit World Series  walk-off homeruns.  Mazeroski did it for the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 13, 1960, when he belted a shot  over the left field wall off of Ralph Terry of the New York Yankeesin the bottom of the ninth inning in game seven.  Mazeroski’s shot gave the Pirates a 10-9 win and the World Series title.  on October 23, 1993, Carter cracked his homerun, a three-run shot , in the bottom of the ninth of game six to give the Toronto Blue Jays an 8-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies and the World championship.
