Bob DeLuca’s 18 Propels Cornell Over Bill Bradley-Led Princeton

1965 – Bob DeLuca, a Linton High product, bucketed 18 points for Cornell to lead the Big Red to a 70-69 win over Bill Bradley-led Princeton.  Bradley poured in 40 points in defeat for the Tigers.  It was Princeton’s last defeat before losing to Michigan in the final four that year.  In another game against Princeton in 1966, DeLuca was on fire, scoring 30 points in a 86-77 Cornell win.
