Bob Pettit Wins First of Record 4 NBA All-Star MVP Awards

Bob Pettit of the St. Louis Hawks scored 20 points and pulled down 24 rebounds to lead the West to a 108-94 win over the East in the 1956 NBA All-Star game.  Pettit was named the game’s Most Valuable Player.  It was the first of a record four All-Star MVP Awards for Pettit.
