David Przybylo Scores More Points Than Barry Kramer & Pat Riley

Linton High’s David Przybylo scored 1300 career points to pass former Blue Devil All-Americans Barry Kramer and Pat Riley.  Przybylo played for Linton from 1972 to 1975.  He also was a superb passer and has got to rank high up on the list of Nott Terrace/Linton’s all-time great players.  Przybylo was an All-Metroland pick his junior and senior years, and area coaches voted him Metroland Player of the Year in 1975.  He went on to play for Wichita State of the Missouri Valley Conference, and in 1976 they won the league championship and were ranked among the top 20 teams in the nation.  Przybylo transferred to Albany State, where he played for Richard “Doc” Sauers.  He has coached the Bishop Gibbons and Amsterdam hoop squads at different times.
