1. Mercurial-footed running back known as the “Kansas Comet” who joined the Chicago Bears in 1965.

5. Running back who had ten 1,000-yard seasons.  He played for the Lions.

7. Illinois and Chicago Bears middle linebacker who was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979.

8. Linebacker who played for North Carolina then for the Giants.  Only defensive player ever to be named the NFL MVP in 1986.

9. He won the Heisman at Oklahoma in 1978, then played for the Lions.
