June 25, 2013 – Mary-Kate Poulin, who attended Gloversville High School, graduated this June with an amazing 99% plus grade point average in the classroom. Poulin maintained that high level of academic excellence while spending numerous hours developing into a star swimmer. A Gloversville High record-holder, Poulin swam across Sacandaga Lake and back to raise money for Autism Speaks, a group that is attempting to cure autism. Poulin’s brother is autistic. This summer, she will be traversing Sacandaga once again in honor of her aunt who has breast cancer. Poulin will be attending Duke University in the fall.
