Golf Sensation Armand Farina

Armand Farina attended Nott Terrace high School in the 1930s, and he captained and led the Blue Devil golf team to three undefeated seasons.  Later, he became a member of the PGA Tour and competed against such greats as Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, and Slammin’ Sammy Snead.  Farina tied for third in the San Francisco Open, finished seventh in the Pensacola Open, and he shot a record-setting 27 for nine holes in the Texas Open in 1947.
