Johnny Majors Again, But Then There was Paul Hornung

Johnny Majors, who coached Pittsburgh to national  title in 1976, played his college football at Tennessee in 1956.  He lost out to Paul Hornung of Notre Dame for the Heisman Trophy by just 72 points.  Jim Brown of Syracuse came in fifth in the balloting.  Hornung was a quarterback, and he played on a losing team.  The Fighting Irish were 2-8 that year.
