Johnny “football” Manziel, the highly talented 2012 quarterback of Texas A&M, reminds me an awful lot of former Boston College star, Doug Flutie. Manziel is a heady signal-caller, he can throw, he reads defenses well, and he is elusive. Watched him play against both Alabama and a weaker opponent, Sam Houston State. Against Sam Houston , he was attacking like Houston attacked Santa Anna at the San Jacinto River. Manziel passed for 267 yards and three scores. The versatile quarterback also ran for 100 yards and scored twice in that 47-28 win.
