Larry Bird Buckets 60 Points

In 1985, Larry Bird bucketed the Boston Celtics’ last 16 points of the game for a total 60, to set a Boston Celtics single-game scoring record.  The Celtics beat the Atlanta Hawks , 126-115.  Bird hit on 22 of his 36 shots from the field and converted 15 of 16 free throws.  The previous Celtics’ record was held by Kevin McHale, who scored 56 points about a week before Bird’s outbirdst.  I mean outburst.
