Like It or Not, O.J. was the Best College Running Back of the 1960s

In my opinion, O.J. Simpson was the best college running back of the 1960s and perhaps of all-time.  I couldn’t wait for the West Coast game featuring Simpson and USC to come on the tube on a late Saturday afternoon in 1967.  With his electrifying speed to the outside, I saw Simpson break away for many long distance touchdown jaunts.  He would  capture the imaginations of pigskin fans from across the country week after week.  Jim Brown, however, was the better of the two at the pro level.
