Liz Harvey, Courtney Lane, & Jenna Erickson Top the Lists

Liz Harvey – Harvey bucketed 34 points on February 15 to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo to a 61-55 win over Mekeel Christian, and the Western Athletic Conference Tournament title.  Harvey finished the regular season with a 24.9 scoring average to lead all Capital Region girls in that department.  Next were  Cassidy Chapko of Hoosic Valley and Emia Willingham-Hurst of Albany High, both finishing with 20.3  points per game averages.  They were the only three players among the girls to average over 20 points per game during the regular season. 

Courtney Lane – Lane Led all Capital Region girls from the free-throw line, connecting on 87.9 % of her foul shots.  Sydney Rosales of Colonie was second, netting 83.1% of her free-throws, and Kaitlin Wood of Broadalbin-Perth was third, hitting on 80.6% of her attempts.

Jenna Erickson – Erickson nailed 56 three-pointers during the regular season to lead the Capitaland girls in that department.  Jacquelyn Miller of Argyle was second with 53, and Macie Holmes of Mekeel Christian finished third, hitting on 51 shots from three-point range.
