Maple Hills’ 108-Game Win Streak to Saratoga’s Tyler Bullard

# Through January 28, the Maple Hills girls’ basketball team was on a 108-game Patroon Conference winning streak.

# Through January 28, 2013, Bishop Maginn’s Courtney Lane leads the girls in free throw percentage, hitting on 89.4 % of her shots from the line.

# Kelly Pine of Hoosick Falls, only an eighth-grader, had a 21-point night in a 71-18 annihilation of Granville.

# The Argyle boys have Joey Lufkin and the girls have Jacquelyn Miller, who became the fifth player in Section II history to hit on 200 three-pointers.

# Through January 28, 2013, Saratoga hockey star, Tyler Bullard, leads all area scorers with 46 points.  The Blue Streaks are 10-0 in Capital District High School Hockey League play.

# The Union College basketball team has improved its record to 16-3 through January 28, 2013, and they  have shown a balanced attack in their most recent games.  In their last game, an 82-75 win over Skidmore College, the Dutchmen squad shared the basketball, and once again had four players in double figures.  Joe Mason led the way with 24 points, followed by Scotia’s Terrell Winney, who tallied 20 points, Kevin Donohue had 18, and Croll 10.
