Marty Ralbovsky Could Really Pen a Story

Marty Ralbovsky was a superb sportswriter for the Schenectady Union Star in the 1960’s.  Ralbovsky had a certain flair with the pen, and he described area athletes and coaches with the use of flowery phrases.  Ralbovsky also did some writing for the National Enquirer.  He wrote a book titled Destiny’s Darlings which was about the players on the 1954 Schenectady Little League World Championship Team. Another book, titled Lords of the Lockerroom  which was about  Mohonasen High School Soccer, was also penned by Ralbovsky.
