Mayfield’s Babe Baldwin Did Not Need The Three-Pointer

Babe Baldwin was a soccer, baseball and basketball star for Mayfield from 1954-1957.  The 6’3″ center averaged 38.5 points per game and amassed 1,827 career points for the Panthers.  He was an All-American first team pick in 1956 and 1957.  Baldwin scored 40 or more points eight times and 50 or more points five times.  He scored 62 points against Galway.
