Mont Pleasant’s Tony Parisi was a Star at Holy Cross

Tony Parisi, who was a teacher, baseball and football coach, and administrator with the Schenectady City School District for many years, was a 1950 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, and he had quite an illustrious athletic career.  Parisi won three letters in both football and baseball as a Red Raider, and then moved on to Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he competed in the same two sports.  Parisi played for the Crusaders when they won the College Baseball World Series in 1952.  On the gridiron, he was selected to the All New England team in 1953.
