Randy Cross Could Really Play

A lot of people have forgotten about former Mont Pleasant basketball player Randy Cross.  During his high school playing days, he was somewhat overshadowed by guys like Jerry Vinehout.  Cross was about 6’3″ and a very good jumpshooter, rebounder, and defender.  He had a very unique jumper and appeared to release the ball with two hands.  Cross went on to Boston University where he really blossomed and had a splendid career.  He should be considered a candidate for the Schenectady City School District Athletic Hall of Fame.
