Remember Billy Kirsch?

Bill Kirsch was a former two-sport standout at Siena College, playing basketball and baseball.  He also served as the Saints’ head basketball coach and athletic director at both the Division I and II levels.  Kirsch became the head coach and athletic director in 1972, and he served as the head coach until 1982, when he vacated the position to devote full-time to the AD job.  He guided his 1973-74 Division II squad into NCAA regional play.  In ten years, Kirsch won 142 games and lost 111.  He also coached the Junior College of Albany to a 78-19 mark.
