Richard Dent & Thurman Thomas, the Thrill & the Agony

Richard Dent had a magnificent defensive performance for the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX  vs. the New England Patriots.  He singlehandedly knocked the wind out of the Patriot offense with four solo tackles, and he forced two fumbles in the first half.  He also knocked down a pass and had one and a half sacks.  Thurman Thomas, on the other hand, had a dreadful day in Super Bowl XXV.  The star Buffalo Bill running back was totally contained by the Washington Redskins.  Thomas managed only 13 yards on 10 carries in the Bills’ 37-24 defeat.
