Schenectady’s Felix Rodriguez to Schalmont’s Rachel Pineda

October 27, 2012

Felix Rodriguez – Rodriguez scored two touchdowns for Schenectady High on a 1-yard run and a 25-yard pass reception in a difficult 28-21 loss to Shaker.  A game that ended on a controversial call with less than 30 seconds left in the contest that might have tied  the game for the Patriots. It was a very bitter pill to swallow and difficult way to end the season for a well-coached team that has performed so well all season long.  Hats off to coach Jim Kramer and his staff, and the entire Patriot football team.

Hassan Rainey – The Schenectady High running back rushed for 126 yards in 19 carries in that bitter loss to Shaker.  Three of his runs were for 19, 24 and 17 yards.

Nick Gallo & Devon Willis – They scored three touchdowns each in a 48-0 Schalmont route of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.  Gallo had the longest TD run, a 26-yard jaunt.

Cassie Nosal – She had 17 kills, and 6 blocks  for the Bishop Gibbons girls’ volleyball team in a win over Holy Names.

Rachel Pineda – Pineda had 10 kills and 3 aces in a win for the Schalmont girls’ volleyball team over Hudson.
