Terrence Fede did not receive a nickle toward his college education when he played football for Marist College. Neither did any of his teammates or any other player who competed in the Pioneer League to which Marist belongs. Fede, a defensive lineman, is now in position to earn a spot on the Miami Dolphins roster. No Marist football player has ever been drafted by the NFL. Marist is in Poughkeepsie, New York and is in the Division I subdivision. Fede is from Nyack, N.Y. and was not recruited by a big-time school. It’s very unique for a player not having a college scholarship to make the Dolphins’ squad . This is a feel-good story.
