Texas Storms Back to Nip TCU

In 1954, with TCU winning the football game 34-7, the Texas Longhorns came storming back to nip TCU, 35-34.  The Texas players were going through the motions and playing very lethargically until a referee failed to blow a play dead, and the TCU runner scored to extend the TCU lead to 34-7 as the fourth quarter began.  The Longhorn players were enraged by the fact that the official had not blown the whistle and  scored four fourth quarter touchdowns and the final extra point, which nicked the right upright and went through, to give the Longhorns a dramatic come-from-behind win.
