Tommy LaSorda Mows ‘Em Down for the Schenectady Blue Jays

On May 30, 1945, Tommy LaSorda, the former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, struck out 25 batters in a 15-inning game for the Schenectady Blue Jays, a minor league team.  Lee Riley, the father of pro basketball icon Pat Riley, was the team’s  manager.
