The UAlbany Women and Union College Men’s basketball teams showed great balance in their wins on January 12. UAlbany, having a superb season, are at 12-3 after their 71-39 thrashing of Maine. All five players scored in double figures. Julie Forster bucketed 10 points and had 12 rebounds for a double-double. Linsey Lowrie, Ebony Henry and Megan Craig were the top scorers with 12 each, and Shereesha Richards pumped in 10. The Union College men, off to a 12-2 start through January 12, beat Liberty League rival RPI 90-72. Keven Donohue led all scorers with 27, Terell Winney tallied 17 , Croll scored 16, and Joe Mason chipped in with 10 points. Mason also dished out 13 assists.
