On November 11, 1960, Los Angeles Lakers forward Elgin Baylor poured in 71 points against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Baylor was unstoppable, displaying a variety of uncanny moves to the hoop and a deadly jumper. Baylor was Rookie of the Year in 1959, and he was selected to the NBA all-star team 10 times. He averaged 27.4 points per game during his illustrious career.
